Zef Serembe
The last day of 1901, passed away Zef Serembe, one of the most powerful and sensitive lyrical of Albanian and Arbëresh literature. He was born in Stragari, Cosenza. He was a pupil of Jeronim De Rada, fighter for the unification of Italy and the liberation of the ancestral homeland, Albania, from the Ottoman occupation. His literary creativity enriched Arbëresh and Albanian literature and culture.
