31 December 1919, the report of French general De Furtu: the riots in Albania are caused by neighbors

In the report, which sends the command in Thessaloniki on December 31st, 1919, the French General De Furtu writes about the riots in Albania, especially in the Middle Albania, who were encouraged by the policies of neighboring countries to realize their annexationist plans. The Italians, he writes,the turbulences, “so that people who want peace require the Italian protectorate”. The impression that “the whole population wants the protectorate of Italy” tried to create the Italian occupiers to Colonel Johnson, who was sent by the government of Washington, to verify the situation in Albania, when the Albanian issue was present at the diplomatic tables.
