The collapse of dictatorship
In 1990, after the massive student protests and a hunger strike on December 11th, after decades of communist rule, was reinstated the pluralist system. A day after was established the first opposition party in Albania, the Democratic Party. It also marked the opening of the political system of the elections and competition between the parties to govern the country.
