Yesterday, one of the renowned actors of Albanian cinematography, an artist from Kosovo Skënder Tafaj, has died.
Tafaj is known for various roles in the Provincial People’s Theater until 25 years ago when he emigrated to Switzerland.
Kosovar media write that he was followed by UDB due to the issue of engagement in the Kosovo issue.
Some of the roles where he is known are in the movies: “Era and Lisi”, “When Spring is Delayed”, “I Bite the Dark”, etc.
The actor’s burial will be held today at 16:00 in his village in Isniq, while earlier in Deçan, at 11:00 will be held the memorial ceremony.
