Abdyl Frashëri
“The Central Committee for the Protection of the Rights of Albanian nationality”, also known as the Istanbul Committee was established on December 13th, 1877. He was the initiator and organizer of the Albanian League of Prizren. The Committee was headed by Abdyl Frashëri; other prominent activists were Sami Frashëri, Pasho Vasa, Jani Vreto, Zija Prishtina, Ahmet Koronica, Mihal Harito, Iljaz Çoku, Mehmet Ali Vrioni and Seid Sarmedin Toptani.
