Ali Pash Tepelena
The French Consul, near Ali Pasha, wrote in the end of 1809, for the talks in Misolongi between Pashaj and the British envoys. Based on the reached agreement, when the English naval fleet would attack the islands of South Ionian, Ali will attack Berat and will cooperate in the siege of Corfu. Pasha of Ioannina has used the contradictions of the Great Powers of that time, to expand and strengthen its Paschalis, which actually was independent from the Sublime Porte of Istanbul.
