The contract dated on October 19th, 1429, proves that Albania during the middle ages was an important exporter of timber. From Ishmi, Shufedaja, Erzeni, and Cape of Rodon was exported unprocessed wood and half processed too, that was used for heating and especially for shipbuilding.
