Akademia e Shkencave
The Academy of Sciences of Albania was established on October 10th, 1947. This is the highest institutions. This Academy was established based in unity of the institutes and research sectors that were part of the University of Tirana and then was expanded new institutes and sectors. The first director of The Academy of Sciences of Albania was elected Aleks Buda, who headed this Academy till in the end of his life.
