Venice
In the meeting dated on September 25th 1396, the Senate of Venice decided to exempt from customs tariff exported goods from the municipality of Durres and setting customs tariff for the imported goods. Meanwhile, for Shkodra Municipality, that also was under the Venice domination, Senate decided to use the taxes for the fortification of the city.
