Today is remembered one of the great figures of Italian politics, of Albanian origin, François Krispi. He was born in 1819. He took an active part in the revolution of 1848-1849 in Italy and had an important role in the struggle for the unification of Italy in the years 1850-1860. He has twice been Minister of Internal Affairs of Italy and twice for four years, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. One of the architects of the Triple Alliance of 1882 and the Italian policy formulator in Ethiopia. He died on August 11, 1901.
