The Czech painter Jaroslav Cermak, was born on August 1, 1830, he has left many works on Albanian theme. He traveled to some European and Balkan countries, where he met Albanians and their traditions. In the works dedicated to the Albanians, Jaroslav Cermak paid special attention to the realization of special types as well as to the full presentation of national costumes. Tablets with Albanian themes are worked with oil paints and are exhibited at the National Gallery of Prague and other European museums. In Faik Konica’s “Albania” magazine, there is also an article about the Albanian Landscape exhibition, which was opened in Munich in 1900.
