On July 11, 1956, composer Prenk Jakova cast the first notes of the opera “Mrika” in the pentagram, which laid the foundations of Albanian opera art. With the “Shkodra Wedding” and “Light on Albania”, the artist made the first moves on the opera road, while in October 1957 his dream came true: the songs of “Mrikes” were ready and opera for the first time Appeared in ancient Shkodra.
