On July 10, 1952, in Tirana, was inaugurated Kinostudio “New Albania”, the Albanian film company, for the filming of feature films, documentaries and cartoons. With its rise, the technical theme of the new Albanian cinematographic collection was laid. In 1957, she produced the first Albanian art movie, “Tana”. Subsequently, the production of documentary and cartoon films grew, the themes and the variety of their genres expanded. She managed to produce up to 14 feature films per year, 16 cartoons and dozens of chronicle and documentary films.
