On July 3rd, 1927, died in Fushe-Kruje, Shote Galica, Nation’s Heroine. In 1916, at the age of 29, she worn as a man and lined up in the ranks of fighters of Drenica Çeta , along with her husband, Azem Galica. 12 years, she fought with arms for the freedom of Kosovo. After Azem’s death, she took his place at the top of the tent. 22 people from her family have given life for freedom and independence. After liberation, she was awarded the high title “Nation’s heroine” and a monumental grave was erected, which was violated by them, dreading her manly image.
