According to the Decree-Law of February 22nd, 1926 in Ioannina, Greece was established the Honorary General Consulate of the Republic of Albania. Before the war the network of the Albanian consular institutions was widespread and an important place had the honorary consular institutions. Also these consulates had the biggest part of our consulates outside the country.
