Asim Vokshi
Today is commemorated the anniversary of the death of the son of Gjakova, Asim Vokshi, “National Hero”, in the battle of Fuentes del Ebro’s in Spain. He was graduated in the Military Academy of Italy, and participated in the anti-Zogiste insurgency in Fier. Asim Vokshi was one on the first volunteer in the anti-fascism brigade in Spain, and died heroically on October 4th, 1937.
