In Bitola, on 31 July 1908, the club “Bashkimi”, a political and cultural organization was founded. In its statute it was stated that the club would work for the national unification of Albanians, their cultural advancement, language delivery and the spread of Albanian schools, the organization of resistance against the Youth Turks reaction and its specialization measures, to protect the alphabet of United Albanian. For his patriotic activity, he was shut down by the Jupiter during the suppression of the anti-Ottoman uprising of 1910 but recovered and continued his patriotic activity.
