In Tirana’s bookstores, on June 25, 1957, the poem “Scanderbeg” of the American poet Longfellou, a reprint of Fan Noli’s pronunciation, emerged. The book was accompanied by interpreter notes and historical explanations. As you know, Longfellou wrote the poem inspired by Elena Gjika’s oral stories, for our national hero. It was translated by Fan Noli, who later composed it on its basis, one of the first Albanian symphonies.
