Among the 75 deputies of the National Council, which met for the first time on April 21st, 1921, and was even Berati’s deputy, the patriot Llambi Goxhomani. He was born in “Mangalem” neighborhood in 1858. Finished the famous gymnasium “Zosimea” of Ioannina and then the University of Athens. After graduating in literature, he worked a teacher in his hometown, but also was involved with the national movement. His comrade Baba Dud Karbunara, remembers in his diary that for this event, in September of 1905, Llambi was arrested and imprisoned by the Ottoman authorities.
