Serbian military departments, initiated by Struga and Dibra, under the command of Colonel Milutin Miskovic, started marching to central Albania on June 2, 1915. They encountered the spontaneous resistance of Albanian patriots, but thanks to the numerical superiority and military technique, Invaded Elbasan, to go further, in the depths of the country.
