In Gjirokastra, on July 2nd, 1917, was born a journalist and pedagogue Zihni Reso, active participant in the National Liberation War. He begun the higher studies in Italy, but was graduated after the liberation at the University of Tirana. He founded and directed the press for the little ones, the newspaper “Pioneri” and the magazine “Fatosi”. He belongs to the honor of establishing and directing the Journalism Department at the University of Tirana and giving lectures for journalism at the University of Prishtina. He has published many articles, studies and books.
