He was born in Lusë Përmet, 18 May 1906, the writer, prose and translator Nonda Bulka, who used the nickname “Chri-Chri”. After high school in Korca, he attended high school in France. At home, he worked as a tutor and lecturer. He became acquainted with his writings. His first poems and stories have been published in the press of the time as “The New World”, “Iliria”, “Minerva”, “Ora” and so on. In 1934, he published the first poetic volume “When weep and laugh”. “Sketches and Tales” came out after the liberation, in 1950, followed by the “satirical verses”, “Under the star’s light” and 8 other volumes. From his pen, many translations have come out. The comedy “Topaz”, which started its activity in the National Theater in Tirana, is the talk of Nonda Bulka.
