On April 16th, 1912, was gathered the Assembly of Krasniqi, who presented to the Young Turk government a memorandum urging the recognition of Albania autonomy. Among other Assembly’ requests was to give back to the Albanian insurgents the weapons, the military service of the Albanians has to be done in Albania, the opening of Albanian schools and the use of the Latin alphabet, raising the Albanian flag in all Albanian territories.
