Ismail Qemali, through the letter dated on December 14th, 1913 unmasked the brutal intervention of the Great Powers in the internal affairs of Albania. “Great Powers whose, have reserve for themselves the setting of conditions of existence and borders of Albania, have reserved also the right for setting the quality and the appointment of that person, who will reign in Albania”- he writes.
