On April 13th, 1932, in Korca was set up “the Monument of the National Warrior”, of the sculptor Paskali Odhise. The monument was set up with the help of the people and migrants of Korça. It reflects the fighter symbol of Albanian fighting units who fought for the liberation of Albania by the Ottoman oppression and protection of the integrity and independence. Over pedestal stands proud the warrior with national clothes and the gun in his hand, obviously, it remains one of the masterpieces of our sculpture.
