It is up to our days, a letter of Charles I Anzhu, dated on April 12th, 1274, in which he ordered the captain of Albania to protect the riches of Durres church. It is known that the churches in the Middle Ages, but also later, have been the centre of art and culture development. Their robbery proves the acquisition and systematic destruction of spiritual assets of our nation, thus erasing of its identity, of the National memory.
