The writer, journalist and publisher Petraq Risto was born in Durrës on June 9th, 1952 and graduated from the University of Tirana. He continued his postgraduate studies at the Academy of Art where he was qualified for critics of stage art. For many years he worked as a journalist and on the press pages with publicist and literary writings. After 1990, he founded the publishing house “Globus R”, being its owner and director. Petraq Risto, is the author of many literary volumes, including novels and poetry and stories.
