At the session of 8 July 1404, the Senate of Venice, discussed the proposals of the Albanian Container, Niketa Topia and decided to conclude the agreement with him. According to this agreement, Kruja would remain in possession of the Albanian Container, provided that he raised the flag of St Mark, namely Venice, to its castle. For its part, the Republic pledged to supply salt container markets, assist it in armaments, link an annual salary and import Albanian cereals. Meanwhile, Konti would help the Republic with military force whenever it needed it. Such international acts, which have come to this day, testify to the fact that arboreal feudal states and their relations with foreign counterparts.
