the high school of Gjirokastra
The High School of Gjirokastra, one of the first general high schools of our country, was established on November 5th, 1923. It was the first school where the boys and girls taught together, Muslims and Christians. During the occupation of the country, the school became one of the hearths of anti-fascist resistance.
