On May 4th, 1886 in Pamul Verde hall of Bucharest, was created the Albanian migrants society, named “Dituria”. The meeting chose the Committee of the Society and approved its Statue. The Society developed a dense activity, especially in the field of Albanian language publications and their distribution among the emigrants but also in Albania.
