On December 2nd, 1945, in Albania were held the elections to the Constituent Assembly. In this election, were not allowed to participate the Legality organizations and the National Front, and this was exploited by Western diplomacy, to exclude Albania from the list of the countries that participated in the antifascist war. A negative role in this direction played the government in Athens, who tried to exploit the situation created for the realization of its chauvinist objectives, maintaining the state of war with Albania, until today.
