On February 28th, 1997, in Czech Embassy in Tirana was held the ceremony for the delivery of 24 prices of the International Exhibition of Lidici, near Prague. As is known there, on June 26th, 1942, were massacred by SS henchmen, 192 men of the village as in our martyr Borova. At the annual exhibition also attended the Albanian young painters. 5 of them were honored with an honorary diploma and prize “Honorable Mention”, while the teacher of the district “Joy of the eye”, the master Bashkim Dervishi was awarded with the gold medal of the exhibition, attended by minor artists from 45 countries.
