On January 26th, 1958 in Tirana was born Sokol Xhahysa, painter and director of the Albanian cinematography. He was graduated in the Higher Institute of Arts in Tirana and starting from 1982, began working in film studio ‘New Albania “as a painter in the Animated Film department. Then except the paintbrush, he was committed with the multiplicative films. Several animated films as “The boy and paintbrush”, “Robinson and saviors”, “The referee, the referee” belong to his directorial creativity. “Robinson and saviors” had so much success so the artist has treated it in three series. In 1991 Sokol Xhahysa immigrated to Switzerland, where he continues his creativity.
