In Berat, on May 25, 1957, oil geologist Ifran Cibaj was born. After graduating from the Faculty of Geology and Mining in Tirana, for four years worked at the Petroleum and Gas Institute in Fier. During 1985-1988, he headed for post-university specialization for prague-stratigraphy in France and after return, he worked in the sector of the survey for the Saranda area in the Krasta region.
