In complete illegality, on August 25, 1942, was published the newspaper ” Zeri i popullit “. This is one of the longest organs of the Albanian press. During the wartime, 171 regular numbers, tens of special numbers, such as a leaflet, a periodical, operational, bulletin or newsletter, called ” Buletini i Zerit te Popullit “, and other non-periodical papers, with the titles ” Flete te Zerit te Popullit “. After the liberation, the publication began on Nov. 5, 1948.
