On October 22nd, 1880, in Klesnja and in the Step of Myshku near Ulcinj over than 1000 Albanian volunteers were encountered with the numerous enemy forces for the protection of the integrity of their homeland. Because of the superiority of the opponent,after many hours of fighting they were forced to back off and Ulcinj fell in the hands of Montenegrins.
