Near Tetovo, in the Polog area on June 22, 1453, a fierce battle was held between the Albanian army led by Gjergj Kastrioti and Ottoman armies commanded by Ibrahim beu. Albanian forces attacked the Turks in front and on the right wing. When the enemy did not wait, Moses Golemi with his wards gave the third blow and the enemy was shattered. The Albanian Army followed the opponent to the depths of the Polog field.
