On a stone slab discovered in Ballsh, Mallakastra is fixed the art of baptism of the Bulgarian prince Boris, in the year 866. He was baptized and then he became a Christian in a local basilica, which means at that time Arberit were Christians and influenced to return to their religion Bulgarians also.
