On December 18th, 1997, during the visit of the Foreign Affairs Minister of Italian Republic, Lamberto Dini in Tirana between Italy and Albania was signed the Declaration, which established the objectives and priority sectors of the Italian assistance to Albania, and the joint statement over the urgent interventions of the cooperation between two governments for the immediate implementation of the Italian financial resources in the emergent sectors in Albania; “Protocol- agreement for the technical cooperation between two countries”; “Protocol-agreement between the Albanian Government and Consortium for Albania-Italy Water Supply ” and “Protocol- entente regarding the implementation of the Industrial Park in Durres.”
