The events of December 1921 were repeated after three years. Exactly on December 16th, 1924 the mercenaries of Ahmet Zogu coming from Yugoslavia and supported by the detachments of Yugoslavia and Russian bands, broke the resistance of the national forces and entered in Peshkopi to proceed the attack towards Tirana and the collapse of the democratic government of Fan Noli.
