Italian missionaries
The Italian missionary in Albania Lorenc Vixoli, who throughout his life devoted for education development and culture, passed away on 12th, January 1970.Besides numerous school texts he in 1923 published the book “Shqipëria” and in 1930, “Atdheu ynë”, who by the material and documentary wealth remain important sources for the geography and history of the Albanian State in the period of his initial activity.
