At the initiative of Hasan Prishtina, Nexhip Dragas and other Kosovar patriots, on May 21, 1912, the Assembly of Junik was convened, where there are 250 prominent figures of our national movement. The assembly held the proceedings until May 25th. There was prepared the uprising program, which provided for the establishment of Albania’s borders, the establishment of an Albanian administration, the establishment of the national flag, the establishment of the Albanian as an official language, the appointment of a general governor in Albania. The common interest for the overthrow of the government of New York, united all the representatives who joined the covenant and began operations for armed struggle against foreign invaders.
