Upon the order of the General Staff of the National Liberation Army, on August 17, 1943, for the treatment of injured and sick partisans, a partisan hospital was set up. Hospitals with several dozen beds were raised in Nikollare, Shengjergj, Gusmare, etc. Partisan hospitals also performed ambulatory medicines for partisans and people in liberated areas.
