Injac Ndoja
In Shkodra, on 13 November 1913 he was born the geologist and the great Albanian professor Injac Ndoja, awarded with the title of “Doctor of Natural Sciences, specialist for the petrography” in Torino University. Until 1947, he taught at the Gymnasium of Shkodra. Afterward, he worked at the Institute of Science and Geological Research Institute in Tirana. With the opening of the University, he was appointed the dean of the Chair of Mineralogy and Petrography at the Faculty of Geology and Mining. He was the first one who won the title “Master of mineralogical petrography Science”. With his works Injac Ndoja, has become also known in the outside world. Since 1965, he was a member of the Geological Association of France.
