The alphabet of Monastery Congress
The insurgents of North Albania, through the Memorandum addressed to the Government of the Young Turks and European public opinion, on December 11th, 1910 demanded the amnesty for all political prisoners Albanians and the freedom of using the Albanian language and the approved alphabet at the Congress of Bitola, the full freedom of schools and the opening of those that were closed by the Young Turks, the equal rights before the law, etc. The memorandum was published in the newspaper ” Shqypja e Shqypnisë ” and other contemporary notebooks.
