Two well-known personalities of Albanian politics and diplomacy, Mehmet Konica and Mihal Turtulli, on July 1st, 1914, addressed a letter to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy and to the President of the Italian delegation at the Peace Conference in Paris, Titoni, where required to respect the independence and integrity of the Albanian state, and thus abolish the other powers, the possibility for arbitrary and annexation requests.
