Mihal Grameno, as participants of that which has entered in our history as “War of Mashkullora”, has left his memories for the 5th March. This was one of the most important battles of çeta command by Çerçiz Topulli against the Ottoman army. After the murder of the gendarmerie commander of Gjirokastra, many Ottoman forces were send by veliu of Ioannina to track the Albanian çeta, surrounded its 5 fighters in the village of Mashkullore. The battle began at 7 am, 5 unarmed Albanians fought against more than 150 Turkish soldiers all day long and in the evening were able to break through the siege. On the battlefield fell Hajredin Tremishti and 20 opponents. Was slightly injured the commander Çerçiz Topulli and Myftari, one of his fighters.
