To honor the work and creations of the choreographer Gëzim Kaceli, Emeritus Artist, who died in Bologna, Italy at the age of 66 years, the ensemble of Song and Dance gave in the Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Tirana on March 13th, 1999 a concert “Post-mortem” with his best choreographic works. Gëzim Kaceli as choreographer of the ensemble of Songs and Dances has prepared numerous performances that are applauded inside and outside the country. The numerous prices that ensemble has deserved including “Golden’s chain”, in the International Festival of Dijon in France, are also appreciation for the creativity of talented choreographer. Gëzim Kaceli has given a great contribution in the activity of army ensemble in but also in the Opera and Ballet Theatre for staging several ballets and operas.
