The Albanian iconographers Konstantin brothers and Athanas Zografi, on February 20th, 1744, completed the church wall painting “The Birth of the Virgin Mary” in the famous Monastery of Ardenica. The frescoes realized by their paintbrush have great dimensions; diverse compositions, rich ethnographic and painted clothes and are known for the artistic craftsmanship high level. Two brothers and their two boys have decorated the churches and cathedrals that today are turning into culture monuments in Korca, Berat, Voskopoja, Vithkuq, Apollonia, Vanaj of Lushnja, etc. Also, in 1765 they have worked their frescoes in Athos of Greece.
