In Prizren, Kosovo, on February 12th, 1945, came out the first issue of the newspaper“Rilindja” which later became the Albanian daily newspaper of Kosovo, one of the most important institutions of information and culture of Albanians there. It served as the first primer, as a cornerstone for the University of Prishtina and the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Kosovo.
